Luis Leeds, driving the Preston Hire No.96 machine, has hit the streets of Homebush in Sydney for the opening practice session of the final Round 7 of the CAMS Jayco Australian Formula 4 Championship.
Leeds posted the 8th fastest time of the first session.
Dream Racing teammate, Thomas Randle, posting the quickest lap time with the TRAVISTY driver followed closely by Nick Rowe in second, who rejoins the category for the final round.
Newly crowned champion Jordan Lloyd was third fastest, followed by leading rookie Will Brown in fourth.
IQ Option Racing’s Tom Grech was fifth, with Team BRM drivers Harry Hayek and Frankie Maiolo sixth and seventh.
Jimmy Vernon and Zane Goddard followed Leeds in the top ten.
AGI Sport’s Nick Filipetto made his debut in the category, finishing 11th in the first session followed by the Jayco Dealer Team entry of Caitlin Wood.
The next practice session will head out at 11:35 (AEDT) at Homebush, with live coverage on Fox Sports 5.
